Drawbacks of Blogging

Drawbacks Of Blogging

Blogging can be useful but in some cases it has its drawbacks too like for example:

1. Getting an audience - Audience is a crucial part if someone is publishing a blog. Audience reflects how you blog really is. They decide through their comments weather if the blog published its good or bad. Some blog can have millions of view while other may not be even read by anyone.

2. Losing rigorousness in writing - Blogs are supposed to be short by nature. They have to make a point make it clear and catchy so the reader reads the blog. A person cannot always come up with something new and catchy.

3. It can be time consuming - If someone has a really good blog than it could be time consuming as the amount of reply's the publisher will get can be as many as thousands. Most of them may require even to reply to those comments.

4. Blogging may limit creativity - To be a successful blogger you have to follow some specific guidelines such as writing what you readers will find interesting, entertaining and informative. There’s no room for personal indulgences—writing freely without guidelines to improve your creativity while experimenting with various writing styles and genres.

5. You can lose touch with other readers -   As a blogger and a writer, you will find it somehow difficult to produce works that will appeal to and be suitable for other readers who are not targeted in your blogging, thus you have limited opportunities in your blogging and writing career

Linus Torvalds and LINUX

Linus Torvalds is a Finnish American, who is a software engineer and who developed the famous Operating system called Linux. Linus Torvalds attended the University of Helsinki between 1988 and 1996, graduating with a masters degree in computer science. Torvalds joined the army and his academic year was interrupted. In 1990 he returned to his studies and where he first was exposed to UNIX.  He started programming on January 5th,1991 when he purchased Intel 80386- based IBM PC. He has been a programmer for 22 years now. The initial release for LINUX was on 1991. Linux is a open source Operating System which is modeled on UNIX. Mainly programmers use LINUX as it is a low cost and is easily customizable and can be used on servers, mainframes, embedded devices, desktops.
Linux is very difference from windows and mac operating systems. Linux has very different GUI. Linux is very cheap than Windows based operating system. Unlike windows LINUX can be installed on wide variety of hardware. There are only two GUI's for LINUX " KDE and GNOME " and it is also optional if you want to use the GUI or not as a user can simply use commands to use it.The Windows GUI is an integral component of the OS. The file extensions for the LINUX are different than windows or mac OS.
The advantage of Linux are :
1. It is virus free
2. easily customizable
3. Cheap to get
4. Flexibility among devices
5. Does not need a GUI to use it
6. It is very stable
7. it does not slow down on time.

The disadvantages of LINUX are:
1. Many windows programs may not work on it
2. There is a learning curve to the people who are new to LINUX
3. There is no standard edition
4.  It has a patchier support for drivers
